The dialogue with painting happened in Pocono Pine, Pennsylvania in 2017.
The paint was prepared with the ashes and charcoal from a fire made at the location some days before.
The invited participant for this dialogue was Bohdi, a hyperactive 3-year-old child.
The action was filmed.
Bohdi’s mother kept the painting for her son, and hung it on a wall at the family house.
In 2023 a scan of the painting was made (including the paper inside the frame on the back of the work), and a replica was printed in fine all paper, with the exact same size. The print was mounted in a similar frame, also with the same dimensions.
The final work is the double pieces, each with one of the interlocutors, at their homes, hanging on their wall.
The dialogue must continue…
