DESCRIPTION
The artist book H2O is placed in front of an 100% recycled clear plastic bottle filled 75% with mineral water. A stone found in the artist’s outdoor home surroundings, covered with red acrylic industrial paint, lies on top of the bamboo lid.
The artist book contains 8 pages of cotton canvas primed and painted white with acrylic paint. The pages have the text embroidered with black cotton crochet thread: “Water pollution is responsible for over a million deaths annually. About 1 to 4 people globally lacks access to safe drinking water. Approximately 71% of the Earth’s surface is covered with water. Oceans, seas, lakes and rivers. Water is the blood of Earth. The human body can be up to 75% water. We are water.”
