Milton Nascimento, the Brazilian singer-songwriter, says in “Canção da América”: “Amigo é coisa pra se guardar / Do lado esquerdo do peito” which translates to “A friend is something to keep / On the left side of the chest”.
A friend is indeed a valuable treasure!
I embroidered the word “FRIEND” in Morse code with golden thread to express how much I value friendship!
