GROUNDING EXPERIENCES AND HABITATIONS - Connecting with the space
Why during 2020, Zephyr, the Greek god of the warm west wind, and the god of spring, blew strange winds?

We are in a LIMINAL situation. The pass will never come back and we do not know what the future will be. How to ground in such an intangible place?
The memories we carry remind us of whom we are, and allow us to envision where we want to go.
I moved in March 2020 to the countryside. Since then, I am working to inhabit and create roots to a new place, where references brought by the former owner are still very present. I decided to remove a decorative strip that framed the walls of the house's entrance, close to the ceiling. The painted canvas strip contained repetitions of the Zephyr's portrait. I cropped the image and photographed it with stones that I painted red to make the "Zephyr" series of photographs.
